Today’s Photo Of The Day is “Bohm’s Bee-Eater Green on Green” by Robert Henderson. Location: Nyerere National Park, Tanzania.

“This Bohm’s bee-eater was sitting on a branch along the Rufiji River in Nyerere National Park, Tanzania,” explains Henderson. “We caught him during a brief sun break between showers. The patches of sky match the blue streak below his eye, while his emerald feathers blend well with the leaves.”

Canon 7D Mark II, EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II USM lens at 520mm with 1.4x III teleconverter. Exposure: 1/800 sec., f/8, ISO 800.
